The Mask of Sanity

The Mask of Sanity

Masks, disguise, shades one load and carries,
The assaults, the betrayals, one only parries,
One little incident, one little push into madness,
You fall, never to return, into the abysmal darkness.

Ever so clandestine, hideous the lies,
Kill it once, kill it twice, the atrocity never dies,
Ignore it, run from it, veiled under the sanity,
Ever so defeated, ever so lost, gone your vanity.

Try to make it right, be back to normal,
Always the fake smiles, always so formal,
The cloak, the visor, changes your spirit, your soul,
A slave you become, not safe, not secure, not in control.

Let it free, let it out of the cage, let it all out,
Move, go ahead, never circle the roundabout,
The agony, the torment, returns, to haunt you again,
Face it, bury it, gone is the mask, gone is the pain.

Race Against...

Race Against...

Speed, force, a race against time,
Slow and steady not worth a dime,
Mountains to climb, oceans to cross,
Blinding Lights, tables turned, no loss.

Plan, move, a race against the world,
Be the wolf, be the pack or lead the herd,
No one stops, no one waits, no one cares,
Become a legend, the best, take the dares.

Strength, hope, a race against insanity,
Be true, be pure, shred all the vanity,
Falls, failures, part of life, part of the game,
Despondency, depression, set it all to flame.

Words

Words

Words spoken, grey, white or black,
You tried, you failed to bring them back,
Once said, once told, you sung the song,
You hurt, you sinned, evil all along.

They have the power, the strength,
May amend conflicts or cause them,
So,
Think, ponder, before you open your mouth,
Use them wisely or it'll all go down south.

The apologies, the sorries all go in vain,
You've said it once, you caused the pain,
The worries, the regrets shall remain for long,
You're not always right, you may be wrong.

Risk and Reluctance

Risk and Reluctance

Success, the colossal goal,
Takes time, extracts a heavy toll,
The one desire, that all seek,
Sans which, the future seems bleak.

Risk, the uncertain chance,
Takes guts, for one to advance,
The step, one must take,
The money, the time, all at stake.

Reluctance, the unwanted evil,
Stops us, the pointing needle,
The power, that holds us back,
The pain, the walls remain to crack.

Tough, it may seem sometime,
The insults, the risks, the paradigm,
Draw your path, march ahead,
Make the choices, you don't dread.

Standing In The Rain

Standing In The Rain

Soaking wet, no sun, clouds above,
Sadness spread, all hate, no love,
Whatever I did, went in vain,
There I was standing in the rain.

Water trickling, lightning and thunder,
It happened, I fell in surrender,
No one was there, I was in pain,
There I was, standing in the rain.

Wind blowing, I went cold, it was tough,
Screaming, shouting, desperate, it was rough,
Why me? I asked again and again,
There I was, standing in the rain.

Then came,
A ray of light, a ray of hope,
There lay,
A door, a path, I was ready to go,
I,
Stepped up, willing, went on, things to amend,
There I was, moving forward, marching ahead.

What Happened To This World?

What Happened To This World?

What happened to this world?
Why is everything smeared?
Stress and pressure are common,
Nobody is happy, all have fallen.

It is a race to earn money nowadays,
No one is satisfied, all are in craze,
Who has more, who has less?
Who is the worst, who is the best?

Suicides have become ordinary,
Everyone is selfish, no one is merry,
Students have become subjects,
Nobody cares, no one is at rest.

Corruption these days is on rise,
The poor pay and the rich get the prize,
Hard work, they say, the key to success,
But no job, no future, no one is impressed.

Wars and disputes come in usual,
Everything has now become delusional.
Where murderers are set free,
Innocents are cast down to their knees.

What happened to this world, I now ask,
Where there is no peace, only wars,
Where no one is true, all are false,
With no angel, the demon calls.

When Darkness Calls

When Darkness Calls

The curtains of darkness fell,
I stopped, I looked, I hid,
It slithered on me, the hell,
Shut myself under a lid.

It was fear engulfing me,
I didn't know what to do,
Cast down on my knees,
Nothing left but to rue.

This is the end,
I shall never be forgotten
My life is all spent,
Now I have fallen.

Death slowly inched through,
No one there, my head spinning,
Nothing to look up to,
Just the evils grinning.

What did I do wrong?
I will never ever know,
Death has sung its song,
No one to see tomorrow.

You Are All Alone

You Are All Alone

Nobody to trust, nobody to rely,

You are all alone,
So don’t you dare to cry.

Nobody cares what you do,
You are all alone,
Nobody stands beside you,
You are all alone.

You shall have many jobs,
But you don’t have a clone,
They have started the time bombs,
And you are all alone.

No one will fight for you,
You are all alone,
Nothing will inspire you,
You are all alone.

People maybe there for you,
The end you have to face alone,
People may support you,
To face the fall, you’ll be all alone.

You may fail, you may win,
You are all alone,
You may rise from within,
But you are all alone.

The world maybe challenging in life,
You have to face it all alone,
It will always set a goal in life,
You have to go through all alone.

Unity In Diversity

Unity In Diversity

United we stand, divided we fall,

A brilliant thought, applicable to all,
Hundred men are much better than one,
That is how big battles are won.

India, our wonderful and diverse land,
Has people ready to be a helping hand,
Although vary they may in tradition,
All stand brave and united in position.

There may be conflicts or arguments,
But we retain our temperament,
Be good to each and everyone,
And think bad for no one.

We may be from east or west,
North or south, we remain the best,
We may be alike or different,
We enjoy each and every event.

We may not be similar in culture,
Neither in language, nor in relation,
Not in finance, nor in tradition,
But we will always stay together.

India has a high population,
More than a billion with an ambition,
One step taken by all at once,
Can change the life of millions.

United we stand, divided we fall,
A brilliant thought, applicable to all,
Hundred men are much better than one,
That is how big battles are won.

Living Forever

Living Forever

The gift of our wonderful life,
In the world's ongoing strife,
Is the best we can ever get,
I am so very sure, I bet.

What if our life never ended,
Never changed, never bended,
An eternal lifespan for us,
To catch our old dream bus.

What possibilities we could gain,
Saying goodbye to the life of pain,
The life of fortunes shall remain,
Live every second of it again.

World is full of opportunities and is vast,
So plan the future and forget the past,
Forgotten will be this tensing thought,
In a world where everything can be sought.

Time would stop for us to pass,
Holding our hand for the ongoing class,
Nothing would be a pain in the arse,
When no one in their life would be last.

Things to discover, elements to be found,
Wish and work, no one is ever bound,
Places to explore, everyone is free,
Do something you never did, or climb a tree.

Ever do something for someone,
Do it now, if you never ever did it,
He may bless you, that someone,
And you may live your life forever.

Under The Starry Sky

Under The Starry Sky

Under the starry sky,
I deliriously lie,
Once in life to try,
To touch them and fly.

Under the starry sky,
I childishly dream,
Of a world where I fry,
The atrocities that come by.

Under the starry sky,
I eagerly count,
The stars above, so high,
But get lost, every time I try.

Under the starry sky,
I excitedly cherish,
The pleasures I enjoy,
As one day, I shall pass by.

Under the starry sky,
I patiently wait,
For the angels to come,
As I have to say good-bye.

Time Is In Our Hands

Time Is In Our Hands
Yesterday you shall forgive, today you will live,
Yesterday has become past, today you will forgive,
Yesterday has gone now, today you will fight,
Yesterday is a blur, today you will alight.

Today is the day, to do it again,
Today is the day, to find the gain,
Today is the day, to dissolve the pain,
Today is the day, to express no vain.

Tomorrow you know not, today is a present,
Tomorrow is like fog, today you will crescent,
Tomorrow is fully unknown, today you will learn,
Tomorrow comes or no, today you will return.

The never stopping time is in our own hand,
Handle it well, your life will be grand.

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve
New year brings new thoughts,
New desires, needs, wants,
New promises, new ideas,
A beginning of a happy life.

But before the day of celebrations,
People rejoice, a blissful sensation,
Friends meet, washing away all grief,
Families harmonize, conjuring relief.

They talk, they feast, they wait,
For the clock to change the date,
The hands on 12 o clock to chime,
All patient for the coming time.

The time, the banners, the voices,
The fireworks, the people's rejoice,
All come and the words shine,
Happy New Year seem to be divine.

New year brings new thoughts,
New desires, needs, wants,
New promises, new ideas,
A beginning of a happy life.

May this new year fulfill all your wishes,
And your life becomes great and lavishes.

Finding Possibilities

Finding Possibilities

What you did?
What you do?
What you'll do?

Everything you do,
Gives you something new,
To remember and learn,
To criticize and yearn.

But the possibilities you reach,
Always set a limit to breach,
Going beyond the possible,
In a world where they seem little.

You may find something to do,
That'll make your limits anew,
Attaining something impossible,
You never thought could be possible.

Finding possibilities in the world,
Isn't tough but is admired,
By all who see their life,
As an ongoing strife.

Do something different,
To be remembered,
To be alive and immortal,
Being in the hearts of people.

Joyous Times

Joyous Times

Christmas, when Jesus Christ was born,
When gloom seemed to go for aeons,
When a new light came, darkness torn,
A glimmer of a great future was born.

Now comes the day of fun and relief,
The time to leave behind all the grief,
Joyous moods of people will arise,
Celebrating the birthday of Jesus Christ.

After Christmas comes a new beginning,
A new year, a new beckoning,
A great urge to do something,
A shining spirit to ablaze everything.

Sweet words in the air ringing,
The whole wide world singing,
As the time is fresh and alive,
Happiness omnipresent to thrive.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
All in the wide world, sing and hear,
This is the time to pack all your gear,
And await the great occasions coming near.
