Still Child Labour

Still Child Labour

O My God! Still poor children,
Work for day and night
To earn their livelihood!

They work since ages and ages,
But get very meagre wages,
They are given a broom at ten,
When they should hold a pen.

Still there fate mops to clean the floor,
When they should be at friend's door,
At the age to go to schools,
They are dubbed as big fools.

They are given brooms to clean the dust,
When they should be at school must,
They are made illiterate,
But they still fight against such a fate.

Great men dreamed, aspired our India be free,
Still they do labouring to get a fee,
I feel gloom and sad,
By seeing their plight very bad.

I prefer to prosper them,
Understanding life and being a gem,
Engineer, doctor, teacher should be their fate,
And they must enter the gaiety gate.

O My God! Still poor children,
Work for day and night,
To earn their livelihood!

A Poor Old Bus

A Poor Old Bus
I was going on a bus,
And everything was a fuss,
I thought of going back,
But it seemed far aback.

The windows were shattering,
 The rain was chattering,
As the bus was old,
But I still got a bit bold.

The seats were crumbling,
And I was mumbling,
As to God I trust,
And should reach home must.

As I looked at the trees outside,
It gave me the creeps inside,
As it was a night,
But I still gave a fight.

I thought of ghosts,
Then looked at my driver host,
He gave me more creeps,
But I thought of reaching home in peace.

The bus was slow,
And I thought of getting old,
The bus suddenly became fast,
Like a rocket launched with a blast.

With a speed like that,
I thought my head would crack,
I reached home in grief,
But still it was a relief.

Could never forget the poor old bus,
That created such a fuss,
Still it is a journey to be remembered,
I bet! I bet!

A Girl On A Quest

A Girl On A Quest

The girl went on and on,
With a donkey under her con,
All laughed at her,
But it didn't lose confidence in her.

The donkey was tired,
But it still was hired,
It was raining heavily,
But the girl still went on and on.

She went to save her family,
Captured by the evil of Sauron,
She cried and cried,
But still she tried,

The girl went on and on,
With a donkey her con,
All insulted her
But it didn't lose confidence in her.

A Christmas Present

A Christmas Present

There was a woman,
Rich but sad,
As she had no friends,
So, she felt lonely in the bend

Once she met a small boy,
And brought him a toy,
She had made a friend,
Who last till the end.

Then Christmas came,
And she was happy again,
She got a gift from the boy,
And was filled in with joy.

Then the bell rang at the door,
And she hurried on the floor,
There stood her friend
Who last till the end.

There was a woman,
Rich and happy,
As she had made a friend,
To last till the end.

Visit To A Graveyard

Visit To A Graveyard
A graveyard in autumn,
We have to visit,
What could be worse?

This happens with a girl,
 Who visits three graves,
The trees were dry,
And the girl went to cry.

The girl became sad
As the situation was bad,
She saw a spirit rose,
And it gave her a happy dose.

The spirit went through her,
And filled happiness in her,
She closed her eyes,
And saw her loved ones.

She opened her eyes,
And saw the graves,
She went sad again,
As the situation went bad again.

A graveyard in autumn,
We have to visit,
What could be worse?
