The Oblivious Meeting
I was going into the woods,
I was not aware of it, but it seemed good,
The deeper I went,
A light seemed to extend.
I entered the shinning light,
With my eyes giving a fight,
It was difficult to believe,
The new world I was seeing.
I am not on Earth,
I kept thinking standing on the turf,
Some people flying with grace,
Some making houses, as if in a race.
Then someone called my name,
I turned and was about to faint,
Because a three eyed, two faced man,
Was shaking my hand.
I kept wondering if I was in a dream,
And will wake up with my homework in reams,
The man said we were not on Earth,
Then he told me to relax near the hearth.
Different sorts of food came,
One with eyes looking at me from the plate,
I lost my appetite by seeing the dinner,
When I noticed, the man looked grimmer.
I wanted to go back home,
But was captured in the dome,
Some more wicked men came,
With knives and daggers to kill me like game.
I started shouting and screaming,
And noticed I was on my bed fidgeting,
It was a dream,
Was all I could think.
Then a letter landed beside me,
Which when I opened to read,
The words: Bye-bye earthling,
Don't worry about our oblivious meeting.
