Poem

The Power We Possess

What could happen, if our thoughts,
Could do anything, that we sought,
It would be a different world,
Anything could be done, without uttering a word.

The miracle has happened,
Since ages, and has deepened,
In the heart and soul of our body,
This is true and not folly.

When people are injured,
Their relatives pray for their welfare,
If the prayer is strong enough,
The person becomes healthy and tough.

In future, a time will come,
When this power will be overcomes,
Some people will use it wisely,
And some will use it selfishly.

People say Apocalypse will come,
But they don't know the meaning of the term,
It means the enlightenment of people,
Having supernatural powers, and never being feeble.

It would be the real Apocalypse,
And not the world's destructive cataclysm,
It will be the beginning of a new world,
A new knowledge, new thinking will be unfurled.

We don't know about the power we possess,
That we could be supernatural but we are so powerless.

Doom's Day In Nepal

In God people believe,

But when an act of God,
Occurs, everyone is awed,
Which destroys everything spreading grief.

An earthquake full of might,
Occurred in Nepal and made everyone fright,
Many people were killed,
And ample of blood was spilled.

The people were innocent,
Still they died in this punishment,
They could not be saved,
From the earthquake's rage.

The people who somehow escaped,
Suffered more than those, who were killed,
As they didn't have anything left,
No money, no home, no one at rest.

People in Nepal still face a threat,
From the avalanches of Mt. Everest,
The plight there is adverse,
And the chances are low for it to reverse.

In God people believe,
But when an act of God,
Occurs, everyone is awed,
Which destroys everything spreading grief.

What was their mistake?
Why were they brutally killed?
Why was their life on stake?
I now ask, why innocent blood was spilled?

Poem

Expectations Of People

Every day, every night,
We want something that might,
Make our life bright,
From wrong to right.

The expectations of people,
Are always strong, never feeble,
No one rises to help anybody,
Just walk through selfishly.

Some people dying in poverty,
Begging for a ray of light,
Some people enjoying paradise,
Still wishing for more and more money in life.

People are never satisfied,
In their whole span of life,
People poor or rich,
The pelf and power makes them bewitched.

From young to old,
People want a fortune and gold,
Without money, there is no life,
This can’t be denied, even by the wise.

Instead of helping each other,
People fight with each other,
For the sake of their expectations,
People are ready to destroy their nation.

Every day, every night,
We want something that might,
Make our life bright,
From wrong to right.

Money can bring profit and also loss,
It can make big fights to cause,
It is the biggest expectation of life,
And a sickness that will thrive.

Poem

Freedom To Me Is...

Freedom to me is:
A world without problems to live,
Nothing to worry about,
So no anger comes out.

Freedom to me is:
A world with peace to live,
Sans wars and no blood shed,
People living peacefully well fed.

Freedom to me is:
A corruption-free world to live,
With honest politicians in power,
To think about the benefit of public every hour.

Freedom to me is:
A world without poverty to live,
With no people to ask for money,
But enjoying their life happily in calm.

Freedom to me is:
A life full of glee and pleasure,
A life full of fame and treasure,
A life where there are hardships to face.

The freedom we have got,
By the sacrifice of people who fought,
To give us an eternal gift,
A world without slavery to live.

Don't worry about your future or past,
Use the gift of freedom till you last.
