United we stand, divided we fall,

A brilliant thought, applicable to all,

Hundred men are much better than one,

That is how big battles are won.

India, our wonderful and diverse land,

Has people ready to be a helping hand,

Although vary they may in tradition,

All stand brave and united in position.

There may be conflicts or arguments,

But we retain our temperament,

Be good to each and everyone,

And think bad for no one.

We may be from east or west,

North or south, we remain the best,

We may be alike or different,

We enjoy each and every event.

We may not be similar in culture,

Neither in language, nor in relation,

Not in finance, nor in tradition,

But we will always stay together.

India has a high population,

More than a billion with an ambition,

One step taken by all at once,

Can change the life of millions.

Living Forever

The gift of our wonderful life,

In the world's ongoing strife,

Is the best we can ever get,

I am so very sure, I bet.

What if our life never ended,

Never changed, never bended,

An eternal lifespan for us,

To catch our old dream bus.

What possibilities we could gain,

Saying goodbye to the life of pain,

The life of fortunes shall remain,

Live every second of it again.

World is full of opportunities and is vast,

So plan the future and forget the past,

Forgotten will be this tensing thought,

In a world where everything can be sought. 

Time would stop for us to pass,

Holding our hand for the ongoing class,

Nothing would be a pain in the arse,

When no one in their life would be last.

Things to discover, elements to be found,

Wish and work, no one is ever bound,

Places to explore, everyone is free,

Do something you never did, or climb a tree.

Ever do something for someone,

Do it now, if you never ever did it,

He may bless you, that someone,

And you may live your life forever.

Under the starry sky,

I deliriously lie,

Once in life to try,

To touch them and fly.

Under the starry sky,

I childishly dream,

Of a world where I fry,

The atrocities that come by.

Under the starry sky,

I eagerly count,

The stars above, so high,

But get lost, every time I try.

Under the starry sky,

I excitedly cherish,

The pleasures I enjoy,

As one day, I shall pass by.

I patiently wait,

For the angels to come,

As I have to say good-bye.

New year brings new thoughts,
New desires, needs, wants,
New promises, new ideas,
A beginning of a happy life.

But before the day of celebrations,
People rejoice, a blissful sensation,
Friends meet, washing away all grief,
Families harmonize, conjuring relief.

They talk, they feast, they wait,
For the clock to change the date,
The hands on 12 o clock to chime,
All patient for the coming time.

The time, the banners, the voices,
The fireworks, the people's rejoice,
All come and the words shine,
Happy New Year seem to be divine.

New year brings new thoughts,
New desires, needs, wants,
New promises, new ideas,
A beginning of a happy life.
